Character Coving and Fireplace Centre

Character Coving and Fireplace Centre is a small, family run business and was established in 1996. Our showroom is based in Hockliffe, Bedfordshire. There are two main aspects to our business. Although dealing mainly in fireplaces and stoves we also specialise in the supply of fibrous plaster coving and cornice. Although we do not fit the coving ourselves, we can recommend experienced fitters if required.

As a fireplace centre, we have well over fifty displays of different fireplace surrounds and fires etc. We deal with many major suppliers and our range includes surrounds made in stone, marble and wood (the majority of which can be made to size). We have an extensive range of gas and electric fires and also specialise in multi-fuel and woodburning stoves. We have many showroom stove models to look at as well as several live displays. These stoves also come in gas and electric options.

Although our showroom range is quite extensive, it obviously still only counts for a small example of all the different products on the market. We pride ourselves on our helpful, friendly and professional service and we will always try and come up with the perfect solution to suit individual customer needs.

Site surveys are available on request and the survey fee of £30 is refundable on placement of order. A full fitting service is offered on our fireplaces, stoves and fires and these are carried out by our own fully qualified CORGI and HETAS registered in-house fitters.
